Could bad rear brakes make the front brakes feel "loose"?

brakes work on a 70 30 scale. the front brakes use 70% in stopping power and the back brakes use 30% in stopping power. but, as the front brakes wear the stopping power will increase in the back. try checking the basics like your fluid level and take a peak down at your back brakes and do a visual inspection. if your pads are low you'll be able to tell. and feel your rotors, if they have more than a 1/4 inch lip around the edge they might need to be replaced.
