I found a tick on my side and I don't know what to do. Help me?

This morning at around 6am, I woke up to find my parents and cousin getting ready to leave for work as usual. I stayed in my bed, not wanting to go out. I felt an itch at my side, after I itched, I grazed my finger up and down my side until I felt this lump feel. It was too smooth to be a mosquito bite, I thought it was just a scab at first, so I picked it off. When I started to take it off it did not hurt. And by hurt, I mean it did not have that stingy feel of taking off a scab. I yanked it off. And found...one little leg on each side of it. I think its a tick. Recently I have gone to a farm for a graduation party. Alot of people found ticks that NIGHT. So i don't know where this came from. I know that ticks can cause medical things. I know it was not there last night. I do not feel any different, nor do I see a "ring" on where the tick was. I am kinda scared on what to do. I tried to call a medical hotline, but Im just a minor so I do not know my insurance # or anything. I don't want to bother my parents either if this is a minor situation. So what do you think I should do? and Do you think I will be fine?
