How should I handle a South Carolina speeding ticket as a North Carolina resident?

I was going 69 (officer dropped it down) in a 60. It will apparently be a $75 fine and 2pts off my license, but I would like to prevent my license from being penalized. Also, is it possible to reschedule court dates (I'm a university student, and can't show up for my said court date)
