Your TV could be on the wrong input, make sure that's correct first. Also ensure that the VGA port is plugged directly into your computer (not your monitor or anything else) and that the RCA/S-Video connector is connected to an RCA/S-video cord which subsequently connects to the television. If none of this works, I'm afraid your converter is defective.
