Can puddings (wrapped) that have frozen and defrosted several times still be eaten?

I kept some Sainsburys puddings (CHristmas puds to be exact) in the boot of my car to keep cool. There shelf life does not run out till 2008. However, with the cold spell I am worried they may have frozen during recent nights, probably defrosting during the day. FIt for consumption?
