I need to confirm something?

The "lost chapters" were known and rejected by the early christian community. The chapters, the gnostic gospels, have through out time not held up to the scrutiny of the catholic church along with other denominations of Christianity. Those books have been quite thoroughly examined, they do not match the major message or themes of the new testament. I would take what is written in those books with a grain of salt.
