Question about inducing labor?
Well I was induced for both of by pregnancies, and while you probably got a lot out of having your first three the natural way, being induced is not a bad thing. It's not super painful. It's no more painful than the other way. For my first, I was induced and since my doctor knew that I am very low tolerant of pain he have me my epidural early on, and I actually didn't feel anything the whole time. I wasn't drugged up and enjoyed every min of my daughter's birth. I was talking the whole time. My second I waited a little bit longer and since i hadn't had the epidural until after they broke my water I did have pain for a little while until they administered the epidural but then again, went through a delivery with no pain. The only difference is you'll know when to expect the baby, and you'll already be right where you need to be, the hospital. I would if I were you, because why take the risk of going into labor and not being able to get to the hospital in time. That's more risk not only to you but to your baby. If the baby was breech, or something happened and you were on your own, what would you do. Plus in addition, having other kids to worry about while your trying to deliver your own baby. I think you need to go with the induction. Good luck!!
